Install the steamhead 12 inches above the shower floor and at least 6 inches from all corners. Do not install beneath seating or benches, and avoid placing it near the controller. Outlet must be sealed to prevent vapor intrusion into shower walls.

For the steam shower enclosure, use non-porous, moisture-resistant materials like porcelain or ceramic tile, tempered glass, and sealed grout. While natural stone is an option, it must be sealed regularly. Choose rust-resistant fixtures, and for seating, use treated, moisture-safe woods like teak.
