Our world today, for many, is a fast paced sprint. From early morning till late at night: getting kids to school, off to work, meals, appointments, sports activities, etc, etc, etc. When you finally have a few minutes to relax, the last thing you want are hold-ups. That premise brought about the FastStart technology. Before FastStart, virtually all steam generators took 4 to 8 minutes to start steaming. Our award winning engineers came through for all those harried souls who’s time is truly precious, and today that’s nearly everyone! Push the start button on any of our 50th Anniversary controls, and in less than 60 seconds, you’re engulfed with the soothing warmth of your own personal getaway.

FastStart is standard equipment on all our 50th Anniversary generators, and holds a worldwide patent. The technology is such that it uses minimal amounts of energy, much like your clock radio, but it allows every unit to steam in less than 1 minute, whether 3.5 kW or 15 kW. No need to wait 4 to 8 minutes for the steamer to ramp-up.

We’ve also addressed environmental concerns; should yours be a vacation home or you’ll be away for a lengthy period there is a feature that counts down from 700 hours, if the steam unit is not used within that time frame FastStart will automatically turn off, if used it starts the 700 hour cycle anew. Or, should you choose, you can disable the FastStart function through the Signature control, and enable it again, upon your return.

It’s taken our competitors a few years to bring their versions of FastStart to market but it is not a standard feature and there is a charge of $200 to $300 for the option of having an imitation of FastStart.
